I don’t believe anything metaphysical about eating pork, drawing pictures of Allah or crackers becoming the body of Christ at communion. I believe I owe respect to people that do. This aggressive project to misgender trans women and push us out of public life does make you an asshole if you participate. I will draw that conclusion, choose to not interact with you further and so will most Americans. The left is wrong that America is a particularly racist and bigoted society. We’re actually one of the best on earth at people of different perspectives getting along. Most Americans don’t like bigots.
