I really see now how foolish I was to ever believe there could be a two state solution. You can’t make peace with a society that will happily devour its own children if it leads to dead Jews. They could’ve built their own paradise many times over with the land and money they’ve been handed. If I learned anything in rehab, it’s that some people will just never make the choice to get better. You can’t help them, all you can do is stay safe.
