One of the many problems with UNRWA is you’ve created a population that has relied on other people to bring them food, medicine and fund their infrastructure for generations. Of course they treat it as disposable. They don’t value it because they didn’t build it. They keep making self-destructive decisions because the international community cleans up their messes. One of the things I learned in rehab is you cannot get better without living with the consequences of your choices.
