There are many, many, many, many reasons I would not set a Tesla dealership on fire. But among them is the insane environmental damage an electric car fire causes. The thermal runaway for the battery can’t be put out with water. So they essentially just contain it with an inflatable barrier and let it burn for several days while all those toxins seep into the air and environment. Fire departments don’t have a good way to deal with this. It’s just not morally reprehensible and counter productive to participate in domestic terrorism. But you’re literally poisoning innocent people, introducing vectors for disease and cancer into their body.
