The silence on the epidemic of girls who mistakenly think they should transition is a moral shame on the trans community. For starters , if FTMs acted like actual men, they would stand up and protect these girls, guiding them away from medical transition. Their community says nothing. And more MTFs like myself should be horrified to see young girls irreversibly damaging their bodies. We know better than most that masculinity is its own cage and will not solve your problems. It doesn’t help us to build a system with non-trans people are getting our healthcare. I’m speaking up, and I sleep just fine at night. I don’t know how the rest of you do.
