The gender critical project is getting much more extreme. Its fundamental nature is now eliminationist. Their goal, now stated entirely openly, is to stop transsexuals from existing in public life. It’s not “introduce better medical safeguarding.” it’s not, “Make sure children don’t make decisions that will not serve them.” The goal that they are openly stating now is to stop transsexuals from getting the healthcare that saves our life, and eliminate the very few civil accommodations we have. I engaged with many of these people in good faith, talking honestly about the problems with trans activism of which there are many. The problem isn’t where they started. It’s where they’re going. People aren’t looking at their current words and understanding just how extreme their ideas are now. Their vision of public life is one without us existing, without healthcare, without accommodations, and with their bigotry on open display.
