Help this make sense. In 1948, Jordan seized East Jerusalem. No one recognized the annexation. In 1967, Israel retook it in a defensive war, but it’s still called “occupied” and left in legal limbo. Israel has been condemned ever since. Russia invades Crimea in 2014. Everyone calls it imperialism, but no one seriously tries to take it back. Why the double standard?
