It’s not that it’s new information. It’s that reading about the Six Day War in a history book is one thing. Standing where it happened puts all of the history immediately into context that’s visceral and helps you draw conclusions. You really must visit Israel to understand it.

@BriannaWu I'm curious, how much of this is "new" information you're only learning after being here? Like, we think of this as common knowledge, but I can sadly imagine that it's not well-known elsewhere in the world...
