If there’s a more famous trans woman on the left that’s taken on the insane overreaches of gender ideology, I don’t know who that is. I am clear eyed about where our movement has gone wrong. But there is an equivalent movement on the other side that is hellbent on dehumanizing us and pushing us out of public life. And too many of you are part of it. Is the mission to rectify the public policy overreaches? Or is to build a culture where bigotry is commonplace? Because way too many of you confuse the two. We will always exist and we deserve dignity.
