One stat I remember from political science is some absurd high number of children have the same political opinions as their parents it’s like 72 percent. If you are here on a Visa and your father commits an Islamist hate crime, it is entirely appropriate for our country to take another look at your background and make sure you’re a good fit. In fact, the odds are statistically likely you’re not. I wouldn’t be gleeful like this White House is being. I think it’s pretty undignified. But I also think it’s pretty naive to assume they passed this check. The first job of any nation is to secure the borders. They do this to keep us safe from violent people that want to hurt American citizens. It’s amazing to me how many people have forgotten the lessons of 9/11.
