The thing that really turned me against progressivism is seeing what they’ve done to my own civil rights. They turned being trans into a trend for bored white liberals that need to feel special. For me, an actual Trans person, it’s a horror that has defined my life. For them, it’s a vehicle to demand society cater to them. If they can’t be trusted to make sound public policy about a freakish medical condition affecting .02% of the population, how the hell are they supposed to run the military? Run an economy? Eventually, I came to the conclusion these are just bad people who shouldn’t have power.
