I entirely agree and I would actually go further. We need to end this nonsense of presuming LGBT issues only belong to the progressive fringe. There are plenty of Republican trans people and plenty of Republican gay people. They are our brothers and sisters, and we need to stop letting the progressive fringe kick them out of our civil rights movement. We are here to further our rights. Not to push some far left fringe communist agenda. It’s absolutely inappropriate to merge the two.
