The hundreds and often thousands of degrading comments I got on Twitter every single day for being a trans woman are wrong. It includes crude comments of my genitals, degrading comments on my looks, and every kind of dehumanization you can imagine. I feel like there’s a dynamic where we’re talking about what’s fair in women’s sports but the public doesn’t seem to value what’s fair for trans women. I didn’t ask to be born this way. The way I am treated by these bigots is horrifying. I am your fellow citizen and your fellow American. This hatred of trans women is wrong, full stop.
