Newsom is a liar. Here is what he could do, immediately: 1) He could VETO the multiple bills that are on his desk that further the imposition of gender ideology onto California’s citizens and institutions to make California into a “trans sanctuary state.” These include bills that will permit people of any age to legally seal sex marker changes on identification, including birth certificates, bills that further erase the understanding of sex as a binary and immutable reality, replacing sex with concept of “gender identity” and bills which put the contact information for the trans indoctrination organization Trevor Project on every school ID. 2) He could exert his considerable power on the Democratic Party in California and the legislators that control CA lawmaking and insist they advance a bill that will reverse AB 1266, the 2013 law that created “gender identity” as a protected class and specifically allowed students in California to participate in the sport or use the restroom or locker room of whichever sex they “identified.” 3) He could stop his attorney general from suing the federal government for trying to protect the rights of girls, and instead comply with Title IX.
