Revisionist nonsense. Look up the Jewish revolt against Heraclius (614–617 CE)—Jews from Jerusalem, Tiberias, Galilee, Damascus, and even Cyprus joined the Persians and took back the city from the Byzantines. So yes, we were there in the 7th century. One generation was expelled when the Byzantines retaliated, but that doesn’t mean Jerusalem was ‘Jew-free’ until the Arab-Islamic conquest. And the Rashidun ‘inviting’ Jews back? The Pact of Umar (~637 CE) locked us into dhimmi status—second-class citizenship, special taxes, and institutionalized humiliation. Some ‘rescue.’
