Agreed. I think House GOPers will hang with Trump. But if 2026 delivers is an elected GOP Senate and a new Dem House, Congress will take the tariff keys away from the runaway executive. So brace yourselves until early 2027.

You'd probably need either a total crash in Trump approval and/or a Democratic House after 2026 for this to become realistic, neither of which are impossible but not quick either
