I have a hard time picking a favorite part of that article, but a top contender would be the passage where the author invents a new complex called the "register rename engine" - a term neither I, nor Google Scholar, have ever seen in any other technical paper - then declares that it is one of the biggest die area and power consumers in a modern CPU core. I'm still not sure specifically which parts of the superscalar pipeline the author was trying to include/exclude with that phrase.
