I really like Haidt and I liked his latest book, but I think it’s actually made it harder to do anything about phones because it’s framed the debate as “if you can’t produce 35 gold standard RCTs showing phones cause depression then everything is fine”. Obviously not the case!

You do not need to be convinced by the Haidt stuff on phones and social media to think very small children using social media undersupervised is a bad thing.
