Accreditation is supposed to be a trustworthy indicator of student success, but too often, that’s not the case. Many accredited colleges still push degrees that leave students deep in debt without financial return. We need real outcomes, not just bureaucratic rubber stamps. At the same time, trade schools are undervalued—both culturally and by the Department of Education, which restricts Pell Grants for these career paths. Why limit access to high-paying, in-demand jobs?
