“We’ve never had growth like we have right now,” President Trump wrongly says after a second quarter with 1.5% growth and a first quarter with 2.1% growth (after 2.1% growth in 2025). Growth was much stronger not only during multiple quarters of Biden’s term but multiple quarters of Trump’s own first term…and that growth, obviously, didn’t get rid of the debt.
