That said, here are some things I've found to be useful as a cat owner and someone who cares about clothes: — Furminator: I use this to brush my cat, which I find helps reduce shedding. This is particularly useful during shedding season. I don't think you have to get this particular model; I'm sure any local pet store will have comparable brushes. — Kent Brush CC20: A double-sided clothing brush, which I use to brush cat hair off clothes. It doesn't bother me to have cat hair on clothing, but sometimes it's nice to have something that minimizes it. IMO, this is better than lint rollers, which I think are somewhat wasteful (i.e., they produce a lot of paper waste) — Dritz Snag Nab It: This needle has a sharp point on one end and a series of rough grooves on the other. If your pet snags something, you can use this to push the snag to the underside of the fabric, where it'll be less visible. Of course, if the item is very expensive or precious, you can give it to a professional, who can properly work the snag back into the weave or knit, but such services can be expensive. This $3 tool is something you can use at home. Just push the needle through the area with the snag and the rough end will pull the thread or yarn to the fabric's underside. I've used this on wool sweaters, cotton flannel shirts, and even silk neckties. As usual, none of this is a paid tweet and I paid full price for all these items. Just sharing what I've found to be useful.
