THIS. IS. ISRAEL. The children of the northern city of Kiryat Shemonah spent 15 months in hotels. They recently returned to their homes. And they returned to school. This picture shows the words that young children found on the whiteboard in their classroom, in a school which served as a home base for IDF soldiers in our war against Hezbollah. The note reads: “From this classroom we left to go on missions deep into Lebanon. We fought like lions and we protected you. Dear and sweet children - we hope that all of you are still smiling, happy, and healthy. Welcome back! May you have a continued good, happy, and safe year. - from the warriors of Division 98 Until total victory!”
