A BEAUTIFUL - CAN’T MISS - VIDEO Meet Marvi. He worked for decades in the Kiryat Shemona post office. He sat at his booth with a book of Psalms and constantly prayed when he was between customers. Marvi was also one of the cantors in the local Tunisian synagogue. The children of Kiryat Shemona knew him as a simple, quiet, sweet, modest, pious man with a beautiful voice. When Marvi retired from his job at the post office, he began to study Torah daily at the local Hesder Yeshiva. He sat there with boys who were 50 and 60 years younger then him - because all he wanted to do was to study Torah. When the war began, the entire northern town of Kiryat Shemona had to evacuate. The students of the yeshiva returned a few months ago. But it still wasn’t safe for someone of Marvi’s age to return. That changed this week.
