THIS. IS. ISRAEL. The 3 children of the Peretz family decided to focus on one hostage being held by Hamas. They dedicated themselves to doing mitzvot - performing good deeds - with the hope that this merit would lead to freedom for this hostage. They even kept track of their good deeds on a large chart. The hostage they chose was Omer Shem Tov. Their large mitzvah chart says: “We are bringing Omer home.” Omer was released after 505 days in Hamas captivity. In this picture - When Omer heard about the Peretz children’s dedication to his freedom he decided that he had to visit them and thank them in person. We truly are an incredible people!
