ONLY. IN. ISRAEL. An IDF commander got married last night. He spent the past year fighting in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria. He has had 12 soldiers under his command for almost the entire time. They are no different than brothers to him. The army gave permission for the 12 of them to leave the battlefield to attend the wedding but the army didn’t have the resources to transport the soldiers back and forth. Someone had to pick them up at 6pm and drive them back after the wedding - either one large van or a few smaller cars. The commander reached out to an Israeli social media influencer who posted this request for help. Within minutes of posting the situation, there were more than enough cars and drivers willing to help. Volunteers who love Israel and IDF soldiers picked them up and brought them back.
