I want to speak to conservatives about what I saw in Ukraine. What I saw in Ukraine was a nation of freedom loving Christians trying hard to fight for their existence against an invading power that wants to enslave them. They want to be part of Europe and the West and they genuinely love and value freedom. I really love these people. It’s such a beautiful country. You go to Kyiv and there’s no mental Hamas rallies, no crazy jihadists. You don’t risk being mugged in the street like in London. There are beautiful Christian cathedrals with glinting golden domes everywhere. If Russia wasn’t bombing Kyiv every night it would be one of the safest and nicest cities in Europe. These people truly believe in the same things we believe in. I’m a big believer in Western civilisation and truly believe this is frontier in the fight right now to defend the West from a China-Russia-Iran alliance that wants to crush us. China’s biggest geopolitical dream is to cleave off America and Europe. If they can split the free world in half they will have a much clearer path in the Asia-Pacific which harms us deeply in Australia. We have to care about what happens in Ukraine because enemy regimes which threaten us care very deeply about what happens here.
