While grateful to President Biden and his team for mediating the ceasefire with Lebanon, I fail to see how ensuring the survival of Hezbollah, a virulently anti-Semitic, anti-American, and genocidal Iranian proxy, advances peace. The can, rather, gets kicked down the road where it will someday try to kick us again. Peace will not be possible in the Middle East as long as Iran remains unsubdued.
