🚨 Israeli gunfire kills pregnant woman and unborn baby after striking her inside Gaza tent Iman Shalouf, 27, was sitting inside her family’s tent in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis when Israeli gunfire struck her in the head. Seven months pregnant, she was rushed to Nasser Hospital, where doctors initially detected her unborn child Ayoub’s heartbeat and said he might survive. “She had about two months and a week left before giving birth,” her husband, Sulaiman Abu Mashi, told Drop Site contributor Mohamed Ahmed. Ayoub died days after the shooting, and Iman subsequently succumbed to her wounds. They were laid to rest today. Iman’s brother-in-law, Mohammed Abu Mashi, recalled the family rushing into her tent after hearing the shot. “We rushed to the tent and found her lying in her own blood, shot in the head.” “This is the baby they didn't even register or record as a martyr,” a relative said as the family carried Ayoub’s body. Iman’s mother-in-law, Umm Mohammed, described the constant fear in Gaza. “We sit in fear. We sleep in fear. We walk in fear. Everything is fear.” “This ceasefire, all of it is a lie,” Umm Mohammed said. “It’s just something to numb people, that’s all.” 🎥 Mohamed Ahmed
