🇮🇶🇸🇦 “An honor we do not claim”: Islamic Resistance in Iraq denies Saudi pipeline attack The Islamic Resistance in Iraq denied responsibility for the drone attack on Saudi Arabia’s East-West oil pipeline, after the Iraqi government said the drones were launched from Iraqi territory. 🔸 The group called responsibility for the attack “an honor we do not claim,” saying no credible evidence linked Iraqi factions to it. It criticized the government for responding before completing an investigation and offered to join an official inquiry. 🔸 Iraqi authorities said they seized a drone-launching platform allegedly used in the attack and are working to identify those responsible. The prime minister dismissed the operations commander in Maysan, where the government says the drones were launched, and ordered an investigation into the command. Iraq also temporarily closed several border crossings with Iran for security inspections. 🔸 The Saudi Foreign Ministry said the kingdom would not respond for now after the Iraqi prime minister asked for time to prevent Iraqi territory from being used for attacks on Saudi Arabia or neighboring countries. No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
