Perhaps it's a Hail Mary, but here goes - There is only one person who can undo the terms of the deal to say: "Hey, what is this sh*t?! When I said to release the hostages before I take office, I meant all of them! What is this bizarre staged deal that hangs by a thread and is itself a form of collective torture? Who in the previous administration thought this was a good way to do a deal? They don't understand how to do deals! So... given that the one thing Hamas is really under intense pressure to deliver is the return of Gazans from the south to the north, I expect Hamas to release ALL hostages beforehand. Gazans return to the north only when ALL the hostages are safely back in Israel, or, as I said 'there'll be all hell to pay' and I mean it!"
