Succinctly put. If you kidnap somebody against their will and asport them to a location against their will, you are 100% liable for what happens to them. To argue this is to misunderstand law, and such blurry-eyed misapprehensions are caused by the taught mentality of sympathizing with the kidnapper. “But IDF” “but smoke” “but bombs” “but food,” if you kidnap somebody and take them to a war zone, you are responsible for the experience and consequences of war. If you kidnap somebody and take them to a puppy farm, you are responsible for the experience and consequences of puppies. This is not opinion, this is the law. End the brain rot.

How inhumane can one be to refuse to see that the responsibility for their deaths lies first and foremost with the terrorists who put them there?
