This time one year ago, myself and many Iranians like me were being doxxed, harassed, and threatened to oblivion for condemning Hamas as a proxy of the regime in Iran, and emphasizing the regime’s role in catastrophic violence in the Middle East. “Stop making it about Iran!” They said. “This isn’t about you self-obsessed Iranians!” They said. In the space of just a year: Gazans (including the Palestinian President himself) have publicly condemned the regime for their suffering, Israelis have publicly condemned the regime for their suffering, Syrians have publicly condemned the regime for their suffering, Yemenis have publicly condemned the regime for their suffering, Lebanese have publicly condemned the regime for their suffering, and of course, Iranians have publicly condemned the regime for their suffering. The regime’s influence has now collapsed everywhere and Iran is on the brink of freedom. To those of you who put our lives at risk to disseminate the regime’s propaganda, your digital footprints will forever follow the steps you take in Free Iran.
