One thing I have never been able to understand about the far left is their cruelty under guise of goodness. It isn’t that cruelty is a unique feature of the far left—it exists from the far left to far right and everything in between—but the ability of the far left to be so morally depraved while at once claiming to be morally upright is what pains me to reconcile. How do people who attack, bring down, demonize, mock, berate, bully, smear, and otherwise intentionally cause as much harm as possible to those who don’t agree with their political views convince themselves—and their followers—that they are the “good” people, and their actions are part of a doing “good” campaign? Don’t they see the inhumanity in themselves? Do they not recognize their behavior as reprehensible? Is it really true that evil never sees evil in itself, and worse yet, sees its own evil as benevolence?
