Germany has blocked the Crown Prince @PahlaviReza from speaking at the Munich Security Conference in an alarming decision to ally with the regime in Iran. The Crown Prince has been one of the most resounding and internationally recognized voices for the Iranian freedom movement, as well as the leading opposition figure. At first blush, @GermanyDiplo ‘s decision to block the Crown Prince to the benefit of the regime seems odd, until you learn that Germany is the Islamic regime’s primary European trading partner, trading billions between them annually. In fact, Iran-Germany trade makes up approximately 40% of Iran-EU trade. Regardless of the Foreign Office’s excuse—of which I’m sure they have many—ultimately they know, and we (Iranians) know, this decision benefits nobody but the regime.
