Our latest map data shows that the Russian advance is still almost at a standstill, despite continuous attacks on a wide front. The Russian summer campaign of 2026 can be considered a failure. No significant acceleration in the pace of advance is expected in early autumn.

According to our data, in August the net gains of the Russian armed forces in Ukraine were approximately 133km². Russian gains are slowly increasing again, but their gains remain extremely limited. Russian gains are a far cry of those from last year. 1/
