Someone is sent to the hospital for newly developed tremors and shakiness. Heart rate jumps into the upper 160s on standing and sits in the low 100s at rest. Blood pressure is low. Weakness and confusion arrive together. Their electrolytes are for no reason dropping low. After potassium pills and IV bags they are discharged and sent home. By morning the tremors, dizziness, and weakness in the legs are already back. This is what early Long Covid looked like when the news still talked about it. People developing it today get false negative tests or they are not being tested at all. Doctors will not diagnose Covid or Long Covid. Almost nobody talks about it, nobody knows about it, and nobody believes it is still even remotely close to existing. Most of the general public thinks Covid is a disease of the past or that it’s a conspiracy. This is why nobody ever knows or believe they have Covid or Long Covid. 🤷
