The Signal scandal is a fairly sharp dividing line for me. I have no opinions on whether people should be fired, etc. None at all. But I have *very strong* opinions on people who want to pretend this wasn't a massive self-inflicted disaster that speaks of an appallingly casual contempt for national security. What greater evidence do we need that these people don't take security seriously than accidentally allowing a journalist into a top secret war debate? The Trump administration can't admit mistake. But you should be able to.
