I am a conflicted American. I don't really want this to happen, because I have nothing against the general run of Canadians and would prefer U.S./Canadian relations not to deteriorate any further. On the other hand, watching the shock and panic and screaming that would ensue among idiots like Ms. Townsend after the inevitable U.S. retaliation in kind would be darkly amusing. I shall be strong. I do not want this. I will keep telling myself I do not want this.
