During the EuroBasket match between Poland and Israel in Katowice, in southern Poland, the Israeli national anthem was booed by Polish fans, who were also waving Palestinian flags in the stands. Later in the game, these flags were removed by the Polish police, assisted by Israeli intelligence agents sent to the venue to accompany the Israeli team.
