There are no functioning hospitals in northern Gaza because Gaza’s government decided to use them as military bases. The government of Gaza, which started this war, is responsible for ensuring its own people have access to medical care. Or it can surrender.

There are no functioning hospitals in North Gaza. This is unacceptable. Israel is responsible for ensuring civilians have access to medical care and must do much more to immediately address this crisis. Both sides must finally end this war.
