Exclusive: Steve Witkoff’s new proposal is for Hamas to release 9 living hostages and 18 bodies, in 2 stages within a week. This will be in exchange for a 60 day ceasefire to allow negotiations on ending the war, at the end of which Israel will be able to return to fighting if there is no agreement, or continue negotiations in exchange for the release of additional hostages. Aid will return through the UN and not through GHF, and the IDF will withdraw from the territories occupied since beginning Operation “Strength and Sword.”
