This is surprising because I've been told that Islamic countries have an outstanding record of revering all non-Muslims in their societies. Plus, I'm confused by the age 9 marriage law. Is it meant to serve as an emulation of anyone?

The Iraqi government approved a new law stripping the rights of all non-Muslims in the country. They also effectively legalized child marriage by lowering the minimum legal marriage age to just 9. Will there be any protest against this true apartheid state? I guess not.
