I've previously explained the tripartite model of possible outcomes for a given action. Take a program to make you lose weight. Based on the actions that you take on a given day, there are only THREE possible outcomes regarding your weight. It can increase, it can stay the same, or it can decrease. Now let us apply this model to Islam and the West's liberties and freedoms. A greater incursion of Islam in the West can result in only three possibilities: 1) personal freedoms and liberties will increase; 2) personal freedoms and liberties will be unaffected/no change; 3) personal freedoms and liberties will decrease. Do we have enough data stemming from a nomological network of cumulative evidence that can help us predict which of the latter three options will prove veridical? If yes, adjust all policies accordingly. Policies that are fully decoupled from reason, logic, and empirical realities will always lead to unimaginable misery.
