What's interesting about this piece is the apparent centrality of the nuclear issue: that all this is about keeping Iran from building a bomb. Iran has proven it's willing to negotiate away the ability to build a bomb in the short-term. Instead, the US has opted for a war that the President doesn't seem able to win, or end, and that will likely produce a regime in Iran that is more, not less interested in eventually possessing a bomb.
