Israel is finally on the road to self-sufficiency in munitions. The Ministry of Defense signed two huge deals with the Elbit Systems for the production of thousands of heavy aviation munitions and the establishment of a "National Factory for Raw Materials." Elbit will produce bombs for aircraft for the IDF, in the wake of lessons learned from the war due to dependence on US supply problems.
