Have been planning a tentative trip to Poland to visit Auschwitz next year. If the Polish government won’t allow the Jewish state’s leader to visit the infamous death camp to pay respects, based on illegitimate “genocide” propaganda, I’m not sure we can proceed with planning.

Regardless of one’s opinion of Netanyahu, Israel’s government should be allowed to attend the Auschwitz ceremony in Poland. Israel must be there to honor the memory of all the Jews massacred during the war, as well as the Holocaust survivors who joined the Mizrahi to build this modern nation. While Israel never forgets and takes great care to remember, it is also focused on the future. It stands as living proof not only of the survival of the Jewish people but also of its flourishing. Excluding Israel from such a ceremony is disgraceful and erases the memory of a people who directly suffered the horrors of the camps.
