Left: Arab Mansour Abbas was born in the Galilee and is leader of a bloc of 5 seats in Israeli Knesset. He won votes of 200k Arab Israelis. Abbas calls on Hamas to surrender its arms and join the Palestinian Authority to build a Palestinian state that can live next to Israel. Right: Arab Rashida Tlaib was born in Michigan and is member of US Congress. She won 200k votes, at most 25k of which were Arab, the rest White and African American. But Tlaib thinks she represents all Arabs of Historic Palestine, including Arab Israelis, and speaks on their behalf (whether they like it or not), seen in this pic donning the kufiyah (while Abbas, secure in his skin, does not need one to prove his identity). Tlaib thinks Hamas is resistance, that "Palestine should be free from the river to the sea by any means necessary" (read, Israel should be destroyed, by force if needed). When gauging Arab and Palestinian opinion about the Arab Israeli conflict, why does the world listen to Michigan's Tlaib, who was elected by Americans, but not to Galilee's Abbas, who was elected by Palestine's Arabs?
