Apparently Afghanistan is the world's only state not to bother with the facade of "elections" at all. Incredible powermove from the Taliban. Even Saudi, Bantu or Uzbek despots feel compelled to put on some kind of charade, but the simple Pashtun is unfazed by such anxieties.
