The military pressure is indeed working. It would have worked in February too. It’s a shame they waited. Directly challenging Iran is also working. That, too, is long past due. This government seems to finally, at long last, have a strategy. And a backbone.

Sinwar has decided to move swiftly towards a ceasefire. According to Channel 12 analyst Ehud Yaari, who has sources in the organization, Sinwar has made Khalil al-Hayya the one and only point man for talks. Yaari says the reason he wants a ceasefire is because the commanders are begging for one due to all the losses they are receiving on the battlefield. Sinwar does not believe that Iran and Hezbollah will be able to distract Israel from Gaza enough to make a difference. The military pressure is working.
