Turns out it was always about relitigating 1948. Act surprised. You’ve reversed the bigotry, professor. When the Jews are offered their great-grandparents’ homes from which most of them fled or were expelled in the 20th century, then the same can be claimed for Palestinians. Start with Germany and France. Poland and Iraq and Yemen will be harder nuts to crack. Let me know when you’ve succeeded. But as long as the Jews have no right to the ancient Jewish spaces of Baghdad that were taken from them, as long as no refugee, literally none of the 100 million refugees of the 20th century, has such a right anywhere and no one even pretends otherwise - neither do Palestinians.

To me it is quite simple. You either believe that it is/was right to remove Arab people from their land against their will and replace them with Jewish people or you don’t. And if you do, well, yikes.
